December 10 - 16, 2016

MAASIN CITY - ‘Tis the season to be careful! As cases of Robbery and Theft are on the rise, PNP Provincial Director Police Senior Superintendent Warren De Leon has vowed to ensure the security of the whole province.

De Leon has directed all heads of police station to be full alert during the entire Christmas season to avert untoward criminal activities.

“All places frequented by most people shall be secured,” says provincial director.

De Leon urged the public to be vigilant and cautious on their valuable things, especially that theft and robbery is rampant during this season.

Based on crime report statistics, aside from robbery and theft, physical injuries are also prevalent.

“We should not give opportunities to the ‘would-be’ criminals,” De Leon said.

De Leon vows to deploy police in all municipalities as part of their crime prevention campaign. The PNP plans to intensify all police operations and will use all  resources and manpower just to make sure that the Christmas holidays will be peaceful and merry.(By MARK L. RIMAS)
