Gaisano employee dies in crash

MAASIN CITY - An employee of Gaisano Metro Hi-per Market was killed when he crashed after hitting a stray dog which suddenly crossed the street. The incident happened in Barangay Mambajao along the City Cemetery. Police claimed 21 year old Joel Carbonilla a resident of Barangay Nasaug had just graduated from the  Maasin City College. According to his colleagues Roy Binongo they came from a friend’s birthday party and were on their way home when the accident occurred. He said they did not notice that Carbonilla had suffered a fatal head wound and was comatose shortly after. He died before reaching the hospital (By ANGELYN BOOK)
