Clean elections essential - Rentuza

SAINT BERNARD - This once sleepy town known more for its killer landslide that buried the entire village of Guinsaugon only several years ago is fast becoming the pace setter for good governance in the Pacific area. Last January 7 the town opened its doors to the ABS-CBN “Ako Ang Simula,Boto Mo Ipatrol Mo” registration of volunteers not only for Saint Bernard but the five towns facing the Pacific Ocean.
The affair which was hosted by Mayor Rico Rentuza started with a short program and overview by MacGregor Kho of the ABS-CBN bureau for Eastern Visayas which is spear heading the movement for clean and honest elections.
During the registration members were provided with the email address exclusive to Boto Mo Ipatrol Mo where they can report any irregular incident relating to the 2010 elections. ‘Ako ang Simula’ badges were also given to the registrants.
