CM gets 100% passing in Nursing Examination

December 17 - 23, 2016

The College of Maasin again dominated the recently released Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) results by garnering up a hundred percent passing rate with one of its graduates almost making it to the list of topnotchers.

The examination was held last November 26 and 27 at Tacloban City.

“All of 9 examinees from the school made it successfully to the roster of passers,” said Miraluna Caturan, Dean of the College of Nursing.

The College of Maasin, whose nursing course is one of its flagship programs, has been constantly producing a number of nursing graduates and is now among the best performing schools in the region. Two of its former passers were ranked 5th and 7th among the top 10 in past NLE exams.

The newly registered nurses are: Abigail Cortina, Ann Blancia, Cris Marie Palaras, Geraldine Yutina, Iris Joy Pelona, MJ Franchette Taganas, Rochelle De Guzman, Ruby Adobas and Suzanne Bacala.

“I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to all CM Admin,Faculty and Staff, UCCP and Baptist Church members and pastors who have prayed for the success of our examinees.

Congratulations to the parents and benefactors as well as to the clinical instructors who unselfishly shared their knowledge and skills to our graduates.” Caturan said.

In behalf of the school, Caturan was proud for the consistency of its performance in integrating high quality education and better professionals.(By MARK L. RIMAS)
